Too Good for Drugs - Too Good for Violence

Instructor:  Detective Fabian Valdez

“Too Good for Drugs - Too Good for Violence” is a drug abuse and violence prevention education program designed to stop drug use and violence before it begins.  The program equips K through 12 students with the skills for resisting peer pressure, and saying "No" to tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs.  The program is also taught at the local alternative middle and high schools.

Children are provided with the necessary skills, knowledge, and motivation to avoid being swept into drug use and violence.  The unique program utilizes a specially trained uniformed law enforcement officer to teach the comprehensive lesson plan.

In 2010-2011 school year,  the  program  has  educated 1,200 K through 12 students.
